FUMI: fabulous pursehooks and accessories - Review

Don't you hate when you go out to eat and there is no where to set your handbag? I know how dirty the floor in MY kitchen gets and I clean it every day. I really despise setting my handbag on the floor at restaurants. I can rattle off words that are common in my kids vocabulary - Yuck, Gross, Nasty, etc. Not only do I have to worry about getting my purse dirty, but I like to keep an eye on my handbag at all times. You can read some news articles here that reinforce that it is a good idea to keep your handbag off the floor. I am apparently not the only person that has been frustrated about this - this common dissatisfaction ignited the ingenious idea for creating FUMI!

I had the opportunity to review the FUMI PurseHook in Courageous (pictured above). The great thing about these is that these pursehooks are convertable - you can use as a bracelet, a handbag accessory OR as a PurseHook. If you do not want to forget your FUMI, this makes it easy to remember! I love items that are multi-functional because it saves money and resources.

Some other things I LOVED:
- How much can it hold? Most FUMIs can hold up to 25 lbs. I am not sure what my purse weighs but it can get pretty heavy and this held it just fine.
- What is it made out of? FUMI is made of recycled materials
- How does it "stick" to the table? FUMI uses 100% recycled rubber pad on the inside of the unit that allows it to grip any surface.

I also had the opportunity to review Je'Marie Scarlett, a scarf clip that you can use to jazz up your purse. Not only that (AGAIN, multi functional!), it is ALSO a cell phone and sunglass buffer. The fabric is designed not to scratch because it is made from a poly microfiber. I have an ipod, a cell phone, sunglasses AND (now that I am nearing 40), eyeglasses so will find this quite useful. I received the Scarlett - Wild Flowers pattern. It is more of a fall pattern but can be used year round. They also have some funky patterns like Zebra, Skulls and Splash that would be great for teens / young adults. At $10.95 this is a steal!
