Vaseline Clinical Therapy

Growing up I lived in a home where my father had a home office. As a dentist, he was meticulous about washing his hands between appointments. Growing up in a very cold climate, frequent hand washings can lead to skin problems, including irritation, redness, and cracked, bleeding skin. My Dad was sure to prevent this from happening - the one lotion he used was Vaseline Intensive Care. I do not remember his hands ever being dry or cracked and it was the only lotion he ever used.

I received several samples of Vaseline Clinical Therapy Lotion. I wanted to get opinions from all sorts of people on what they thought of this product. So far me, 2 co-workers, one male (Jim) and one female (Andrea) and two of my daughters have tried this product. What was the reaction?:

- Upon trying Vaseline Clinical Therapy Lotion, Andrea raved that she loved the light, texture and the fact that there was not a noticeable scent. She also was thrilled with the fact that the lotion immediately absorbed into the skin and did not leave a greasy film.

- Men face skin challenges that women don't as a result of shaving the facial area, primarily prevention and treatment of the dreaded razor burn. Jim applied small bit of Vaseline Clinical Therapy on his face. It did not irritate or burn his skin and he agreed upon with our other co-worker's comments on the benefits of the texture, moisturization and quick absorption of the product. As a guy, he also appreciated the lack of a heavy scent.


- My soon-to-be 8 year old daughter, Miss N., used this lotion with VERY promising results. Every winter the skin on her hands crack and bleed causing her great discomfort and pain. As a parent this is very frustrating. Miss N. has extremely sensitive skin and virtually all of the lotions we have tried until now have caused irritation. I was hopeful when receiving Vaseline Clinical Therapy in the mail after watching the videos. I was thrilled that the and the product did live up to the hype! This product did not cause her any pain, burning or discomfort and because it absorbed quickly it is perfect for little kids (who have their hands on everything). We will continue to put this on her hands to prevent her little hands from chaffing, cracking and bleeding. As this is also a skin protectant, I am confident that this year we will have minimal problems with this problem that has been plaguing us for years until now....


- Miss E. , 6 going on 60, tried this lotion and is the only one thus far with negative results. Miss E. unfortunately applied this directly to what looks like a rug burn and it did bother her skin in that area. Had I known that she had this, I would have avoided that area. Other than that one area it did not bother her skin at all.


- I tried this product and love it. It was light, it did absorb quickly and it really moisturized my skin! I am a bath and body junkie - the highly scented body lotions I buy tend to do well in the "smells great" category and not so great in the "moisturization" category. Vaseline Clinical Therapy is a great alternative because it moisturizes heavily but does not leave a scent; I can happily and effectively use this product with perfumes, body sprays, scented soaps, etc without worrying about a clash of fragrances! NOTE - I also used the lightly scented product and the fragrance is so discreet that I also think this would be OK with other scents.



So far the general consenseus is a huge THUMBS UP for this product. If you struggle with skin problems in the winter I would suggest trying this product.
